Wisconsin HSBC State Championships Field Set
The best youth bowlers from around the State of Wisconsin will soon be competing for top honors as they represent their high schools and communities at Dale’s Weston Lanes in Weston. After months of local district competition, we are now down to the top 74 teams (48 boys/coed and 26 girls) and 148 singles players (95 boys and 53 girls).
The Wisconsin High School State Bowling Championships begin on Friday, March 4th with qualifying rounds in both the singles and team events. The field will be cut Saturday afternoon, with finalists earning a spot in the step ladder finals on Sunday that will determine this year’s state champions.
We have four defending champions in this year’s field: Sun Prairie High School (Boys/Coed Team Division I), Indian Trail High School & Academy (Girls Team Division I); Jeromy Hodsdon (Boys Singles) and Morgan Stary (Girls Singles).
In addition to championship trophies and top finalist medals, bowlers will be competing for $5,000 in scholarships.
We are pleased to again partner with BowlStreamTV to provide the livestream broadcast of all of the action on Sunday. Please be sure to follow what is undoubtedly one of the most exciting events in Wisconsin youth sports. ESPN Wisconsin’s Jesse Nelson and BowlStreamTV’s Craig Elliott will be calling the action, with an anticipated guest appearance in the booth by PWBA and PBA star Kelly Kulick.
