Congrats to Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley’s Matt Orvis
This past week BCAW learned that we had another “Top 40 Under 40 Young Professionals” honoree! We are very proud that Matt Orvis of Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay is among this year’s Class of 2016. The 35 year old joins Oshkosh’s Erik Gialdella in this year’s prestigious group.
The “Top 40 Under 40 Young Professionals” will be recognized at the BPAA International Bowl Expo in Las Vegas on June 29th. This award represents the future of bowling as the 40 individuals selected are the brightest and most promising in the bowling industry.
Matt is well known to BCAW as one of the key people helping to make our youth events the best possible. As the General Manager of Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, he has been instrumental in the smooth operation of our largest events, including the Wisconsin High School State Bowling Championships, Wisconsin Middle School State Bowling Championships and the Wisconsin Pepsi USBC State Tournament.
In addition to our many events, he was a critical contributor to the successful run of USBC Championship events in 2015, including the USBC Masters, USBC Senior Masters, USBC Queens and USBC Senior Queens. With the great partnership and success experienced, he will be hosting our sport’s top female athletes from around the world during the PWBA Players Championship Tournament later this month.
We congratulate Matt on his outstanding achievement and thank him for his contributions to the bowling industry!
