Pete Weber to Attend WI HSBC State Championships
BCAW is excited to announce that through the sponsorship of Storm Products, Inc., Pete Weber (aka “PDW”) will be attending this year’s Wisconsin High School Bowling Club’s State Championships Tournament being held at AMF Bowlero Lanes March 3-5, 2017 in Wauwatosa.
Arguably the greatest of all time, Weber continues to amass PBA titles at the age of 54! To date, he has a total of 99 PBA titles, including regular, senior and regional events. His impressive list includes 14 majors, featuring five U.S. Open Championships and two Senior U.S. Opens.
In 2016 he made history by winning his second USBC Senior Masters to become the first player with five PBA50 Tour titles in a season. I was thrilled to be laneside when Weber doubled in the tenth frame of the title match, and went on to win the title sitting on the bench. His complete professional bio may be viewed on the PBA website.
Weber has been the subject of several documentaries including ESPN Film’s 30 for 30 entitled “The Bad Boy of Bowling.” We hope everyone will come out and meet Pete Weber during our Wisconsin HSBC State Championships Tournament.
