Champions Crowned in Badger State Bowling Council’s Mixed Tournament

The Badger State Bowling Council’s Mixed Tournament wrapped up last month at North Star Lanes in Antigo with over $11,400 in prize money awarded!  The fall bowling “weekend getaway” event is held each year through the joint efforts of the Wisconsin USBC WBA, Wisconsin USBC BA, Wisconsin USBA YA and the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin.  The event saw 72 teams from throughout the state, including Shawano, Monroe, Iola, Minocqua, Baldwin and Milwaukee.

This year’s champions are:
Team Event     Moose on the Loose (Marinette) $700
Doubles           Kaylene Hanson & Brian Mattmiller (Antigo) $350
Women’s AE   Bridget Prill (Eau Claire) $75
Men’s AE         John Egnarski (Seymour) $75

The BSBC thanks North Star Lanes for hosting this year’s event and appreciates the $1,000 in added prize money donated.  Additionally, the BSBC contributed $2/team to the prize fund.

Next year the event will be held at River City Lanes in Waterford.  Look for more information including tournament entry forms next summer!
