2018 WI Pepsi USBC Championships Wrap Up

The state finals of the Wisconsin Pepsi USBC Championships concluded the 2017-18 bowling season this past weekend in Eau Claire.  With the girls U12, U15 & U20 divisions competing at Bowl Winkle’s and the boys U12, U15 & U20 competing at Wagner’s Lanes on Saturday, May 12th, we awarded $12,875 in scholarships over the weekend.  The total scholarship payout for the 2018 Wisconsin Pepsi USBC Youth Championships was $20,675 to 112 youth bowlers.

Scores were impressive, as the student athletes bowled very well during the six game scratch format.  The following bowlers are our 2018 champions:

U12G     Kayla Roidt . . . 910 (151.7 average) . . . $500 scholarship
U12B     Travis Tock . . . 1151 (191.8 average) . . . $600 scholarship
U15G     Taylor Jensen . . . 1308 (218.0 average) . . . $600 scholarship
U15B     Austin Hoffman . . . 1290 (215.0 average) . . . $750 scholarship
U20G    Brittany Schwartz . . . 1314 (219.0 average) . . . $575 scholarship
U20B    Zach Vasey . . . 1432 (238.7 average) . . . $700 scholarship

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also awarded “High Score Scholarships” to the following bowlers for scores shot at the state finals:

Skylar Bricco $100 for her 289 game
Zach Vasey $100 for his 771 series
Quinn Sheehy $100 for his 755 series
Anna Callan $200 for her 277 game AND 713 series
