Longtime Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin (BCAW) Treasurer David Bardon has announced that he is stepping down from the BCAW Board of Directors effective at the December Board meeting.

“With the numerous changes in my life over the past year, including the sale of my two largest bowling centers to Bowlero Corporation, it’s now time to begin a new chapter in my life,” Bardon said. “Bowling has been a major part of my life. Now is the right time to step back from the business side of bowling and pursue other interests.”

As part of his transition, Bardon plans to sell Odyssey Fun Center in Sheboygan Falls, Wis.

In recognition of his many years of active service to the bowling industry, Bardon received a 2022 BCAW Award of Excellence in the Over 12 Lanes category. Wearing several different hats, Bardon has maintained an active role in the bowling industry at all levels over the years.

In addition to his proprietor role, Bardon displayed a commitment to bowling as a volunteer leader at the state and national levels. Bardon served on the BCAW Board of Directors for 22 years including terms as president and treasurer. Bardon also served the national Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) as a member of the Board of Directors, as well as the Government Affairs and League Development committees.

“The BCAW thanks David for his many years of service to our association and the sport of bowling in Wisconsin,” said current BCAW President Hank Posnanski, Jr.
