Norm Duke to make appearance at Wisconsin HSBC State Championships in March
As part of Storm’s continued support of the BCAW’s Wisconsin High School State Bowling Championships and Storm Scholarship Doubles Tournament, the legendary and popular Norm Duke will make a special appearance at this year’s event March 3-5 at Dale’s Weston Lanes in Weston.
Duke is a PBA and USBC Hall of Famer who has 40 PBA titles (including seven Majors) to his credit. He is third on the all-time PBA Tour title list, behind only Walter Ray Williams, Jr. (47) and Earl Anthony (43). Duke, 58, also has won six PBA50 championships (including two Majors). The two-time PBA Player of the Year became the youngest bowler to win a PBA title in 1983 (18 years, 345 days).
“We are pleased to welcome Norm to be part of our Wisconsin High School State Bowling Championships and Storm Scholarship Doubles Tournament,” said BCAW President Hank Posnanski, Jr. “Our student-athletes, families and coaches will enjoy meeting Norm. Thank you to Storm Products for its generous support of high school bowling in Wisconsin.”
