2023 BCAW Annual Meeting, Awards Luncheon, Conference & Trade Show in Appleton

The 2023 BCAW Annual Meeting, Awards Luncheon, Conference and Trade Show will be held on Monday, October 2 at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.  We are excited that BCAW will again be meeting in 2023 in conjunction with the Tavern League of Wisconsin’s Fall Convention & Trade Show.

10 – 11:30 a.m.  BCAW Annual Meeting
Updates on the association’s programs for the coming year, dues proposal and conducting elections for positions on the BCAW Board of Directors are done. (There is no charge to attend just the BCAW Annual Meeting, but you do need to register.)

11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.  “Celebration of Excellence” Luncheon  Join us in recognizing this year’s BCAW Award of Excellence recipients.  

1:15 – 2:15 p.m.  “How and Why To Be Connected To Your Government Officials” with Dale Elliott  

Bowling center owners know the importance of making connections with customers, staff members and vendors. As business owners, it is vital to not only vote in elections but also to get connected to your local, state and federal government officials. Building relationships is the key. BCAW Board Member and Weston Lanes’ proprietor Dale Elliott will show you how getting to know and educating politicians at various levels of government will benefit your business.

2:30 – 3:30 p.m.  “51 Non-Bowling Ideas To Increase Your Business” with Steve Cieslewicz

Steve Cieslewicz, BCAW Past President and Whitetail Lanes’ proprietor, joins us to teach 51 non-bowling ways to increase revenue in our centers. Two seasons ago, Whitetail Lanes grossed an impressive $1.1 million. Steve’s experience and success stories will help you realize new opportunities that exist for your bowling center that are practical and realistic for busy proprietors and managers. Primary focus will include: food and beverage; promotions to generate bowling and non-bowling revenue; tips for bowling league fulfillment; and much more.
